Dominion Energy is working to provide service to everyone

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many stories came out about how companies were working with customers to keep services going regardless of payment status.

One such story came from South Carolina, where Dominion Energy was working to restore energy to 1,500 homes that had their power turned off due to nonpayment. The best part? They’d been planning to turn the power back on before the order to continue providing services during the pandemic—regardless of payment status—came from the state governor.

In addition to turning the power back on for everyone, the company has continued responding to emergency power outages. And though the crews are still working, Dominion Energy is prioritizing the safety of their workers by sanitizing vehicles before and after shifts and maintaining social distancing when possible.
