A new invention by a lineman, for linemen

As many lineworkers know, it’s often a struggle to keep caps off the ground, and having to chase them down can put people in precarious positions. To solve this issue, lineman Patrick Naylor invented the industry’s first underground insulated cap holder. This product became available through Utility Solutions, Inc. in 2021. 

In an industry where safety is key, it’s inventions like this that can make all the difference, and as Mr. Naylor says, if the tool can keep one person from getting injured, it’s all worth it.
