Senators in Texas thank utility workers

At the start of 2021, Texas was slammed by an unprecedented winter storm. Infrastructure throughout the state was hit hard, and many people were without power for quite some time.

In the aftermath of the storm, lineworkers were out in force to try and get the power back on. While some customers were frustrated over not having power—and heat—for the most part, people recognized that the lineworkers were doing all they could, and several senators went out of their way to thank utility workers, along with other emergency responders, for braving the elements for their fellow citizens.
