Caleb Hayes: Milwaukee Tool’s Outside Apprentice of the Year

Each year, Milwaukee Tool names an apprentice of the year, and in 2021, that apprentice was Caleb Hayes. He began working as a lineman after a one-year distribution/line mechanic program and a four-and-a-half-year apprenticeship program in Missouri Valley. As a recently graduated apprentice, he still has a lot of learning to do, but has already learned the importance of safety and paying attention to the little details. 

According to Caleb, the work enables him to give his family a good life, and what he’s learned while training to work as a lineman has given him skills he’ll be able to use throughout his life.
